1. This is your first time here in Slovenia. Welcome, or Valhalla. Is Valhalla some kind of saluting?
Hello! According to wikipedia Valhalla in Norse mythology is a majestic, enormous hall located in Asgard, ruled over by the god Odin but that’s not the story about the title of one of my tracks. I named that track after location from Final Fantasy XIII-2 game.
 
2. How did you start DJ-ing?
I was a music producer first but then I realised that I want to play my tracks for other people so I got Pioneer CMX3000 and started practising at home. This is how it all began.
 
3. Can we expect more collabs like this one with Paul Webster?
My next collab is the one with Bryan Kearney. It’s more techy with a huge drop but still very uplifting. Release date is October 14th on Armada Music / FSOE Recordings.
 
4. What is the story behind the “True Romance – Adelaide – Starships Over Alice” triology?
These 3 tracks have few things in common: they are very melodic, have long symphonic breakdowns with violins, cellos, etc. and some ethnic vocals here and there. After this trilogy I want to focus more on a little bit harder and club-friendly trance music.

Ambitious music maker.
 
6. What – artists and music genres – are your biggest influences?
When I started producing music my biggest influeces were artists like Armin Van Buuren, ATB, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Alphazone, Aly & Fila. Now I try to find inspiration outside EDM. I’m a big fan of rock music, mainly punk, post, alternative, even pop. I also like orchestral, film scores, ambient, chill out and many more.
 
7. Which job would Tomasz Popielarski do if he wasn’t Arctic Moon?
I graduated from IT university so I would probably have a job related to this.
 8. Which are your hobbies except music?
Watching movies and riding my bike. I used to do downhill/freeride but unfortunatelly I don’t have time for it anymore. I still love extreme sports though.
 
 9. Do you have any message for your Slovenian and Croatian fans? You know you have a lot of Croatians fans here tonight. Have you ever heard anything about Croatia from other dj’s?
I’ve never played in Slovenia and Croatia so I don’t know what to expect but it’s definitely going to be interesting experience. People better be prepared for very energetic set from start to finish. I will make sure the dancefloor is destroyed.
 
10.Which is the freakiest place you gave an autograph?
I gave autographs on some nice places if you know what I mean ;) but the freakiest? I really don’t recall.
 
11. What do you think about DJ Mag, who will be for you in TOP 5? :)
Lots of people think that this poll is just a popularity contest but the truth is, it can really help push artist career forward. Many promoters very often use this ranking. My prediction for this years top5 looks like that:
