Although the summer is gone, the festival season hasn’t ended yet – in fact, one of the biggest blasts is still to come! BÓNUSZ ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL, the biggest and most popular electronic music event of Budapest is coming again to HUNGEXPO on 12 October. The festival equipped with the most up-to-date sound and visual system and held in three giant arenas and an outdoor stage will feature the leaders of today’s international and Hungarian electronic music scene.
During the night, we’ll welcome the living techno legend CARL COX, leader of the Intec label. Then we’ll be joined by one of the shiniest stars of the new generation of the electronic dance music world, NICKY ROMERO from the Netherlands. DERRICK MAY from Detroit – the Innovator – one of the fathers of techno will be there as well as his American fellow DUBFIRE, founder of the Sci+Tec label. The Dutch hit-producer SANDER VAN DOORN will be with us as well as the younger member of the famous Kalkbrenner brothers from Berlin, FRITZ KALKBRENNER, coming to the big event with a live show. The performance by the Spanish DJ-virtuoso CRISTIAN VARELA is more than promising. The extremely popular head of the famous Toolroom Records MARK KNIGHT is coming to us too.  We’ll be visited by the beautiful Swedish DJ lady, IDA ENGBERG – member of Drumcode – and also JAN BLOMQVIST – famous of his undeniably unique and colorful sound, coming together with his drummer to present a live show to us. We can welcome one of the most notable representatives of the German minimal scene, GABRIEL ANANDA as well as the promising Cocoon talent DANIEL STEFANIK. The imposing line up will furthermore include the CYBERPUNKERS, the Italian electropunk duo CYBERPUNKERS, then ALAN FITZPATRICK – he newest in-demand producer of the UK techno scene and also SASHA CARASSI, known for his dark and hard techno-sound.
Of course, the top Hungarian DJs will be there too: HOT X, BUDAI, CHRISS RONSON, DANDY, COYOTE, ANDRO, JULIA CARPENTER, MUZZAIK, JAY LUMEN, POLI, SANFRANCISCOBEAT, BERNATHY ZSIGA, YVEL & TRISTAN, JAMES COLE, SIKZTAH, BETA, SECRET FACTORY, DUBLIC, CROSSNINETROLL, REECOBA, FIREDOG, STEREOKILLAZ.
In terms of the lights and visual show the event has always proved to represent the top category but this year it will feature an even more grandiose and spectacular show than ever before.
